I’m sure you’ve heard Alessia Cara’s cut “Here” at some point over the past couple months. I don’t think I need to describe it. But, what you may not know is that it was based on a true story. In an interview with Genius, Cara lays out the story behind the party. Anyone can relate to kind of just wanting to get out of an awkward party, regardless of age. So, kudos to Ms. Cara for dropping this one.
