Ahead of his upcoming ELLIS Island mixtape (and after his Ocean Grown [art above] album), Baltimore rapper ELLIS decides to hit the earholes with two new takes on some pretty hot songs. Freestyling over the “All the Way Up” and “Drug Dealers Anonymous” instrumentals, we’re given party bars and some pretty gritty ones. ELLIS’ flow on “Drug Dealers” was pretty sick, and his ending punchlines, while one of those “lemme say it twice, then break it down again” sort of things, were a solid end to the track (you’ll just have to listen to get it).
