Any time I’m told there’s new Green Day, I check it out (even if it’s just a stream). The group was part of my childhood and adolescence. And this new track? It’s fucking awesome. It’s a mix of that “old” Green Day sound and a newer edge. I want to hold off on saying that they’re “back,” because the group never really left to me. But, hey. Welcome back, guys! Their new album, Revolution Radio, drops in early October. If this is any indication, it’s going to be a damn good project. So, you know what I’m going to do?
