Technically, these are a few days old, since they premiered via Cole’s Tidal-exclusive documentary (released in prep for the above photo’s related album). However, they just dropped on all platforms, so…they’re new enough. But, screw how new they are when Cole’s just eating the beats alive. It’s nice to hear the Dreamville honcho again, and even better to hear him hungrier and impervious to others’ opinions than we’ve heard him before. Will 4 Ur Eyez Only be the album of the year, another solid Cole release, or something overhyped by “the stans” because of the fact that it’s a Cole tape? I don’t know, but I’m excited to hear it.
