A mix between “Caroline” and Danny Brown, Mike Melinoe’s newest track, “Highways,” is trippy as hell. That’s what helps to keep me intrigued with this short loosie: its relentless trip. While not as strong as his recently-released mixtape (chalk that up to the length more than the quality of the track; it doesn’t get the proper time to unfurl), it’s still a dope little drug-addled track.
