It’s always dope to see someone you’ve followed for years put the pieces together and drop dope music. For instance, when Dugee F. Buller dropped Mad Dog and Moet, I was pumped because the project showcased everything that I knew he could do on a track to a wider audience. Super Nike Nando’s Last Shall Be First is another album in that same vein. While Nando’s been around over a decade, this is a project that stands out because it shows Nando at his hungriest and his most comfortable behind the mic. While I’m a bit disappointed that he didn’t include “Limitless” on the project, songs such as “Slay,” “Hold Me Down,” and “Trynafindthetruth” more than make up for the absence of the Nature Boi-produced anthem. Check out Last below and continue to support dope indie artists from all walks of life.
