The Hippie Gang has made a name for themselves out here in the DMV and abroad with their positivity and ability to experiment. But on this one, there’s a distinct mix between the chill and the turnt. That Appealing Chaos (sorry, I had to) creates a dope project. The only thing I wish is that it wasn’t 17 tracks. There aren’t any bad tracks per se, but the project does start to lag at points. Although it’s not enough to make me say “pass, don’t puff,” it is a real knock I’ve got against it. Overall, though, it’s a dope piece of work that definitely had my head nodding and running back a couple tracks just to make sure I got everything down pat.
