I’m a bit late on this one, but daveology.’s Little Mermaid is a project that…well, it gets “it.” You know what “it” is: that undefinable term that makes great music that much better. daveology. definitely shows maturity past his early twenties and spits some realness that you’d expect from an older man. The production on here (which daveology. promises to pay for once he makes it, an ample and honest promise) is top-notch and complements daveology.’s singing and lyricism. Said singing and lyricism pays as much homage to 1990s R&B (and its namesake) just as much as it stays in tune with 2017 sensibilities.
