New SOTBMusic: @TPAIN x @LilTunechi – T-Wayne

While some of the stuff does have a dated feel to it, this (finally released) project from T-Pain and Lil’ Wayne is a beautiful thing. Is it their best work? In some ways, yeah, because it’s so free and unrestrained. In others, again, it feels a bit dated and some beats have been used for other songs. For instance, the beat for “Breathe” ended up being used for Nicki Minaj’s “Did It On’em.”

But, when it hits, thus far, it hits hard and reminds you of why people love Pain and Wayne. Plus, as an added bonus, Pain has some bars and some nice flows. Now, if only we can get a certain fifth installment from a Wayne series and some new T-Pain. I mean, a lot of these artists out here now owe a lot to Wayne and Pain. Therefore, it’s only right if they drop some new music.

So, check this one out if you need some dope vibes that originally probably never would’ve seen the light of day. Let’s hope that Tha Carter V doesn’t suffer a similar fate.
