After teasing the world for the last week-plus, we finally get Big K.R.I.T. returning to the solo grind. I’ll be honest: I was a tiny bit disappointed that it wasn’t the whole album,. However, good things come to those who wait (see Cadillactica). If the album has this much knock while still delivering that “classic K.R.I.T. shit” we’ve come to know and love, I’ll wait some more.

The track is a two-part piece that delves into issues of the club and issues of the real. The beat switch on the track takes this one over the top for me. We go from a sparse soul flip into some dense, straight trunk-rattling music all in the same track. It’s, again, that “classic K.R.I.T.” and I’m here for it.
