Keeping up with the gritty bars hears from Droog and Conway, I got this one in my inbox from Jersey’s own Deal The Villain. Jackson Jones is a 15-track EP-ish project (the length is EP-like, but each song packs a full-length-sized punch with it) from the Jersey native and it’s a pretty sweet collection of tracks. Not too many people can just hop on Madlib beats and make them their own, but Deal does so pretty effortlessly. He’s got a older Ghostface-esque feel over these gritty, soulful tracks as well, so that’s a definite plus. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
