New SOTBMusic: @russdiemon Drops "Since I Was Broke"

I’ll be the first to admit that I wasn’t on the Russ hype train when he first came onto the scene. I mean, sure, the brother could make a dope song. But, I don’t know, there was just something about it all that I couldn’t vibe with completely. Fast forward a few years–and a few Twitter/Coachella thrashings of “struggle rappers”–later, and we’re here with “Since I Was Broke.”

What I’ve always appreciated about Russ is that he’s always been real in a world of stupidity and “fakeness.” That doesn’t subside in this new track, which he also headed up the production for. It’s a pretty solid track and keeps the same energy as his other tracks, while still showing evolution and the like from the dude who dropped “What They Want” (which, admit it or not, was a banger). Check out the track below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
