Real East Duo Look for Something New on New Jam

Above, we’ve got the latest from Real East Duo, the bouncy “Something New.” What made me want to feature this one from the Conneticut artists is that it reminded me a bit of early Mac Miller mixed a bit with Cole. It’s infectious and happy at points, but also pays homage to those from before in its approach. An early autumn jam, “Something New” features J.O.Y. on the hook which is as melodic as it is inspirational. In a sea of copycats, this one stood out to me because it had some organically-grown originality to it. Check it out above and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
