On “Undefined,” EVIN Keeps Pushing

Above, we have the latest from Kurdish-German artist EVIN, “Undefined.” Sonically, it has a distinct 1990s R&B/pop feel from the production and even down to the lyrics, which are about EVIN keeping on even when things get tough. She says that the song is kind of a manifestation/mantra to remind herself that she can “always go on and hope for better times–no matter what.” The visuals are a bit more relaxed as they feature the songstress achieving a bit of personal nirvana with friends and by herself.

All in all, it’s a solid track, one that’ll make me peep more of her stuff as it arrives. There’s an air of confidence, but not one of superiority–which makes me appreciate the vocals that much more. Check out “Undefined” above and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
