That’s how I came into contact with Thirstin Howl The 3rd’s “Crime Lords.” “CL” is a bouncy boombap track that feels a bit like something you may’ve heard Pun spit if Pun got the chance to get old. That’s not to take anything away from Thirstin at all; I just hear a lot of Pun in his flow. It’s gritty and gutter-ready, but it’s smooth enough to grab your attention. It’s good stuff throughout, there to remind you that GOATs never die. Instead, their essence gets spread throughout the next generations by people like me coming into contact with legends.
