makro Want to Paint Pictures of Love

Above, we’ve got the latest from duo makro, the smooth “Paint.” The song is laidback and very seductive without saying outright that it’s trying to be seductive. As piano keys twinkle and guitar licks run wild throughout the song, the duo’s songwriting is sexy, but never overly sexual. As I’ve said before, that’s a hard balance to obtain and harder to maintain throughout a whole song. However, this does it and does it well.

Sonically, the song reminds me of a mix between Frank Ocean and Usher as singer Kris Ruaro makes sweet melodies and surprises first-time listeners with his range. The production/instrumentation here is sensual and grown, but doesn’t go across that line. I love this one because it’s definitely made for the lover(s) in you. Check it out above and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
