Bisca Rae Presents “8:17 PM”

On a song that brings to mind a mix between H.E.R., Tierra Whack and Noname, alternative soul artist Bisca Rae provides listeners with a look into her life as a self-made woman. This is all while also discussing the potential of the youth while blending a lot of different genres and subgenres into this two-and-a-half minute song. I especially enjoyed the production on this one, as it’s kind of boombappy but also diverse enough that it becomes its own thing entirely. If you’re looking for a late-day pick-me-up, “8:17 PM” is a song for you. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
