Sarcastic Sounds Says He’s a Disappointment, But I’d Like to Disagree

A self-depreciating track of sorts, “Disappointment” features the 21-year-old Toronto-raised, LA-based artist presenting his deep dive into self as a mockumentary. Think The Office meets most comedians with a pop-rap feel. It’s an interesting song, one that doesn’t really feel like a disappointment at all. In fact, it’s one of the coolest songs I’ve heard today because of its brutal honesty and its tongue-in-cheek nature.

The video finds Sounds and some of his friends giving their “honest” opinions on who Sounds is as a person. I’m intrigued to see how this track fits in with his I’m A Disappointment EP (besides being the title track). The seven-song project seems to be within the same vein of self-depreciation mixed with chill-rap beats and emotions. In other words, it seems like something I’d love to check out. So, until that drops on April 15th, check out “Disappointment” below and support dope music in all its forms.
