“Sunset Avenue” is a song that’s poppy, but it still has a beautiful soul to it. Kid Travis sings about the woman of his dreams and how they’re meant to be together—even if it’s just for a little while. I like the production here as it helps add that soul to the vocals and the lyrics. If you want a summer song that’s pretty timeless, check this one out and support dope music in all its forms. This is slated to appear on Travis’ upcoming album, due out in mid-June. If this and other songs release thus far are any indication, we’re going to get a great album out of the young singer/songwriter.
