Caye Presents “MILFORD SOUND”

This one’s a bit more alt-pop leaning than what I typically post. However, Caye’s vocals help keep this one within my wheelhouse. They’re reminiscent of a mix between Dominic Fike and a bit of Frank Ocean and Bon Iver. Add that in with a slightly melancholy production and you’ve got a song that’s heavily influenced by dreams and the human desire to want bigger and better things for oneself.

I love the “never settle” vibe of the track. After all, a life without any sort of dream isn’t really a life worth living. It’s a nice laidback track with a lot to say. If you need something more mellow this afternoon/evening, check this one out and do the thing. Support dope music in all its forms. If you like “MILFORD,” I recommend keeping an eye and ear out for Caye’s upcoming We Love project.
