Bronx-based reggae fusion band Royal KhaoZ has made their mark recently being a backing band for some of reggae’s largest artists. That said, they’re solid on their own as well. “Miriam,” a slightly spiritual song which paints a picture of the Biblical figure, is an example of this. I love the energy on this one, from the vocals and the lyrics down to the instrumentation.
