A smooth alt-R&B offering, “Gangsta Love” finds Will and raxx asking a simple question: “can a gangsta fall in love?” I’d like to think so, since gangstas need love too. The song itself leans heavily into the sound of a Ty Dolla $ign or a Blxst, in that it’s bouncy and has an edge…but it also soft and comforting when it needs to be. I also enjoyed the visuals, which find Will and raxx speaking to the people they’re feeling and trying to set something in motion with them.
