Jas first made her debut on SOTB last year. The DIY lo-fi singer/rapper’s latest, Libra 2, finds the twenty-something floating over vibey lo-fi instrumentation and growing as an artist and a person. I also feel that her lyricism and vocals are growing and glowing up as well. It makes me proud to be a writer when I see artists stick with it and grow in front of my eyes. As a writer, few things make me happier (besides, y’know, actual messages that introduce themselves before diving into “yo check this out”).
