DuRu Tha King and DEVN Present “Bent Out of Shape”

I love this one, plain and simple. I love that it speaks on regular issues (ranging between Black parents, people who want to see you fail, and wanting to be free) instead of glossing over them with an “everything’s fine.” Add in the potent vocals from DEVN and you have a song that, despite the name, doesn’t get bent out of shape when it discusses these topics. Sonically, DuRu sounds like a mix between Nipsey and Cole, so I knew from hearing a few bars that I’d love this. Check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
