Above, we’ve got another newcomer to the site in Metallic Malik’s “Life Goes On.” Well, he’s technically not a newcomer, as I’ve featured a song of his before—but that was over a year ago. Anyway, “Life Goes On” is a song about, well, how things don’t stop—even when you die. The world keeps spinning, the sun keeps burning and people eventually start to move on with their lives. It’s a poignant song, one that also talks about how breathtaking moments can also “pause” time like loss can. I feel that this one was very cathartic for Malik.
