Chuckfm Presents the Motivational Song “The Scars”

Chuckfm describes himself as a “social media-less entity” who’s, presumably, from the DMV (based on his email handle having “301” within it). That’s really all I know about Chuck, but, for now, it’s enough. The somewhat enigmatic rapper grabbed my attention with “The Scars,” a song that sounds a bit like early-2000s Eminem with a Linkin Park sort of rock-rap edge to it. It’s perfect for a throwback-heavy vibe playlist, but also for your current-day “I want to keep pushing” sort of playlist. Plus, I’m always a sucker for bluesy boombap instrumentation (which this song has in bunches). If you need some motivational rap with a bit of a bite to it, this one’s for you. Check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
