Frames Wants You to “Ask” Doubters Why They Do So

Frames’ “Ask ‘Em” is one of those songs that’ll get stuck in your head. It’s also a mix between lyrical alt-rap and conscious positive rap bars. “Ask ‘Em,” sonically, reminds me a bit of Lupe Fiasco. I’m also a big fan of the beat switch in the middle of the track, as it helps hammer home the point that doubt—especially self-doubt—is one of those things you can combat quite effectively. That’s especially true if you see some of your mountains as mole hills. Why? Quite honestly, some of the things we doubt ourselves over are quite small. Kick that mindset to the curb and grow. Check out the track above and support dope music in all its forms.
