Above, we’ve got the latest from singer/songwriter Lil Flower Nasti, “Deja Vu.” The premise is a simple one: “you’ve got to know your worth and leave those who don’t behind.” However, it’s the way Nasti sings and talks about this message that’s fresh and lovely. I’ve been a fan of hers since she first hit my line over a year ago. She’s got this Amy Winehouse-meets-Jhene Aiko sort of thing going here, as it’s vintage and soulful but has enough “sadgrl vibes” and reflective prose that it’s a whole new ballgame.
