Audiopharmacy and Teao Sense Present “The Middle Path”

An eclectic mix of sounds, “The Middle Path” is one of those songs that’s anthemic (but not in the way you think). Audiopharmacy, a world hip-hop collective based in Oakland, features artists from the world over. From Turtle Island (North America) to Asia to Africa, we get a lot of sounds and energies here. The end result is a wondrous track, one that speaks on becoming one with nature, becoming less destructive (in all ways) and just a sonically-dense song. From chopped-up vocals from MLK to multilayered (both literally and metaphorically) production and lyrics, this is a treat for the mind as well as the ears.

Point blank, I love the song and love that it seeks to educate but not condemn and uplift but not punch downward. The denseness of the messages, for me, is what put this one over the top for me. Check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
