Jackson Whalan Tries to Get on the Right “Wavelength”

Another song focused on self-love and self-respect, “Wavelength” finds Jackson Whalan making “a song [which] is a mantra for…being more confident” for his son and partner. I love that this one is a song for the folks who struggle with confidence. I definitely still have those moments where I’ll doubt myself or the things I’m doing. Even when it comes to putting out music, there may be a time where I’m not confident in my abilities. It’s a struggle, but one that gets easier with time and repeating self-love-affirming language and positive talk. I love that this one essentially says, like a few other songs I’ve covered over the last month, that we don’t have to walk alone with our struggles.
