MERGES’ “cool” gets the remix treatment from Kaelin Ellis. I had a chance to listen to the original song (and its acoustic rendition). It’s very soulful and quite earnest, almost to the point of being a ballad. Because of this, the production here gives listeners a vibe. Said vibe is also soulful and a bit more bouncy. Kaelin Ellis has been one helluva producer over the years, so I’m here for darn near everything he puts out–especially if it’s an official remix.
