Metri Christ Presents “Summer Rain”

“Stressings become blessings.”

That’s the way that Metri Christ introduced his latest, “Summer Rain.” A lyrical exercise of sorts, “Rain” is one of those tracks that makes you (like many other songs I’ve gotten this month) remember that you’re not alone with your struggles. Self-aware as always, Metri’s bars and song help flesh out his journey (as an artist, a Black man taking care of his mental health and just as a human being). The song is one that’ll have you bobbing along with the lyrics and production. However, it’s a song that’s also about remembering to love yourself and not beat oneself up if things get a bit tough along the way. These are the types of tracks I absolutely love, so check this one out above, check out Metri’s EP and support dope music in all its forms.
