Dana Harper Presents “Daydreaming”

An homage to Aretha Franklin (both in subject matter and song title), “Daydreaming” is one of those laidback vintage soul tracks that you just can’t help loving. Harper’s vocals are crisp and rich, while still being very emotive (without doing too much vocally). Add that into a neo-soul-like instrumentation and you’ve got a song that’ll make you sing along while also thinking about calling your situationship or your sometime-y partner and saying “hey, let’s be official. Our vibes are amazing so what’s the holdup?” That’s specifically because the song is about that very topic. If you need something to play to that partner to push them to not just play with emotions and desires, this one’s for you. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
