ADUBB Presents “Celestial Daydreams”

An emotionally raw song, “Celestial Daydreams” is the first offering from singer/songwriter/instrumentalist ADUBB featured on SOTB. An artist who says they’re “for the ghettos and the gworls,” DUBB is one hell of an artist–especially on the lyric tip. That said, I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better introduction to the artist.

Even with the moments where the vocals are autotuned, they’re still incredibly emotive. The subject matter is awesome and very relatable as it’s not exactly a love song, but not exactly not a love song. On top of that, it’s just a song that you need to hear. Sonically, it’s like a mix between Jhene Aiko and Chance the Rapper (with a J. Cole-like beat) and has so many multilayered vocals. The song features on DUBB’s XOXO project. Check that out below (along with “Celestial Daydreams”) and do the SOTB thing: support dope music in all its forms.
