Happy June. Happy Pride. Happy “It’s Almost Summertime.” I’m excited about all three of those for various reasons. That said, I’m also excited to return to Quickies after missing last week’s edition. Thankfully, you’ve all been incredibly patient (both artists and readers). I appreciate you.

Anywho, before I get all mushy and crap, here’s Volume 107.

When I started Quickies playlists, I did not expect it to be a recurring theme on SOTB–like at all. But, here we are. This week, we’ve got (as always) a bit of everything.

No, seriously. We’ve got an “intimate lesbian love song” from Danielle Lande. I have a new Kid Travis cut. On top of that, I’ve got a song that details an unsung Black hero from Americana-esque group The Pinkerton Raid. This one’s a doozy of a good time.
