Christopha Speaks on “Life Patterns” in New Song

A release in Christopha’s 26 Miles and Running project, where the UK artist releases a song every two weeks, “Life Patterns” is a story as old as time. It’s about the ebbs and flows of life and how life ain’t nothing but an EQ of highs and lows. Like that classic Big KRIT song (that I probably reference as much as “The Vent”), this one goes into detail about what it’s like to work through things mentally. Additionally, it’s a song about how we constantly battle ourselves–and sometimes others–when we’re mapping out what we want to do. Plus, it’s a song about how we, as a people, try to map out how we want to do the thing we’re setting out to accomplish. Sure, other people can deter you. However, all it takes is one “I can’t do this” to derail your whole thought process. Similarly, you believing in yourself can do wonders for your goal(s), more than any other outside force could.

The song itself is very laidback, but never nonchalant. It’s potent without being pungent in its mindset. It’s, all in all, a pretty awesome track from the UK-based artist. I’ve followed his music for a bit now and, while I’ve never covered it all, I really rock with how he puts thoughts together. He’s a lyricist, yes, but he’s also more of a wordsmith. If you’re intrigued, I recommend keeping your eyes and ears on Christopha for the rest of the year. Check out “Life Patterns” below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
