I’m here for all the funky vibes I’m getting today from all of the tracks I’ve decided to get through today on this rainy Monday. I think that’s why I’m extra here for them today; I need something upbeat and groove-heavy. Buddah Crib and Sakari’s “Gots to Freak” is a simple but amazing jam about, well, letting your freak flag fly. I love the vocals, as they’re smooth, sexy and even a bit seductive. I’m also here for the raps put down, as they add a different style/flavor to the song. All in all, y’all? This one got my attention and kept it all the way through.

Don’t even get me started on that bassline. That’s one of those basslines that’ll get you in trouble if you’re not careful, because it also delves in that seductiveness. Yeah, this is that “I’m just here for some sexy time, so let’s come to an agreement” (pun totally intended) type of music.
