freekind. Find Self-Love on New Song

Happy Tuesday, everyone. I have a soulfully done track all the way from Slovenia in the form of freekind.’s “Found Love.” The first thing is that this one, it reminds me of Floetry in the sense that the duo blends soulful vocals and lyricism to create a sound that is very distinct. It’s bouncy and fun, but also makes you want to hug yourself and remind yourself that you are amazing. I really enjoy this one because of the messages within the song.

Too often, humanity gets so hung up on what others think/feel about them, they neglect their most important fan: themselves. Throughout the song, we get to hear an emotionally-dense journey from someone who didn’t fully know how to self-love. One can credit depression and not learning to love properly for that. Anything with mental health discussions gets, at least, a play on SOTB. What makes this standout is that the duo (comprised of soul music-loving friends Sara and Nina) stand out is that this is a song that’ll have you feeling good about the world as a whole–while also feeling good about yourself.

This song appears on their album Since Always and Forever. I definitely recommend checking this one out, even if you love yourself more than anything. Sometimes, you have to take a step back, take a breath and say I’m amazing (even when I have those moments of self-doubt). Check out “Found Love” below and support dope music in all its forms.
