Simply put, “Sunroof Back” is conscious hip-hop. Sure, it may not sound as conscious from the trunk-rattling beat. That said, c’mon, y’all. We all know that some conscious tracks could use more bass and boom to their deliveries. It’s a conscious track for the Third Coast representers and representatives, which means it’s a bop as well as making you think about the world around you. Think a Big KRIT, Three 6 or, well, 8Ball and MJG track and you’ll have the gist of this one. I’m a fan of Crunk-n-Buck’s lyrics as well, since they blend quite well with everything else provided here. If you want some rap that makes you nostalgic but also make you feel like we need this continuously? Check this one out and support dope music in all its forms.
