Christopha Speaks on a “Crazy Ride”

Two things are forever constants: birth and death. The time organisms have on the physical plane is finite and, if we’re being completely honest, short. Will you waste your time pondering about the what ifs or will you “make the most of the time that we do have,” as Christopha implores us to do on his latest cut.

“Crazy Ride” is an emotionally-strong song about the finite nature of life. Additionally, the song has moments about the finality of death. It’s one of those tracks that’s a bop sonically and story-wise. We’re given about three minutes of Christopha speaking on the wonders of time, life and humanity. This happens all while the song reminds us that we’ve got to enjoy all of the time we’re given–even when things look a bit more abysmal.

Why?

Life isn’t promised and is, quite literally, what you make it. If you want to live a great life, you’ve got to have great moments involving yourself and (sometimes) great people. Inversely, if you want to wallow in your sorrows, things will ultimately look bleak and depressing. It’s an interesting and intricate song, one that allows for a lot of existentialist pondering.
