Nomis Presents “West Coast Shottas” with Myka 9, Caps the Elusive and Sojourn

There’s really nothing I need to say about this one except this. If you want your bars heavy with realism as well as conscious moments as well as multilayered punchlines and rhymes? This is the perfect song for you. It has all of those things as well as lyricists who have the legs to stand on their word.

Not only does it feature a group of artists who are against the fake posturing (especially as artists who’ve been around the realities some present as their own), they manage to let that be known in a clean way. I absolutely love that, as it’s lyrically strong and profanity-free, which should help its message get out there more. I mean, there are a lot of us “let’s chill on the faked drill and shenanigans rap” folk out there who have children. There are a lot of people who are on their “I did what I did so the next ones wouldn’t have to” grind as well who can relate to what’s being said here. For that, I thank this quartet. I also just marvel at how the bars connect several stories into one track. Check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
