Adama Janlo Presents “If We Only”

Apologies for the delay in writing on Adama Janlo’s “If We Only,” as I received the track a bit ago. In the SOTB Homestretch, things will (hopefully) be less sporadic. Only time will tell and only God knows.

Enough about me, though.

This track grabbed me because of its lush instrumentation and Janlo’s equally beautiful vocals. That combination allows for Janlo’s lyrics to hit you in the chest and make you feel like a weight’s been lifted. That’s partly because the song itself speaks and explores “generational traumas and an expression of finding one’s self.” In these times, everyone has trauma–most of it being generational. However, we can break the chains and prosper. We just have to look deep within ourselves and want better. Check out the song below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
