Kenny Shane & 2MINDZ are a rapper/producer duo who’ve been working together on a collaborative album, Staycation. Due out in early December, I first got wind of the duo’s work with the inspirational “Keep On.” Featuring Big Rapper Pooh, “Keep On” brings to mind duos like Blu & Exile in the way Shane bounces and floats over MINDZ’ production. Lyrically, our rappers speak on something universal: pushing forward even when the grind gets tough. It’s the perfect sort of song for me right now–considering some situations I’m dealing with.
