Featuring MC Eiht and MONTAGE ØNE, “Creep” is chockful of classic West Coast vibes with a newer flavor in the mix. Lyrically, the artists give us bar upon bar of “music [fit] for a drive-by” while also keeping the energies conscious and ready for elevation. I think this is one that’s better heard than just read about. Sonically, it sounds straight out of the 1990s with its edge and boombap-esque vibes. Add that into the bar barrage and you’ve got, to me, a hit on your hands and/or in your ears. This track appears on Team Demo’s release It’s a Demo, which actually dropped yesterday. There’re a lot of fire features and the Team Demo crew keep it rocking like they’ve been shown to do on their various other SOTB write-ups. Check out the album proper (along with “Creep”) below and support dope music in all its forms.
