RYN SCOTT’s latest, “Highs,” is an inspirational hip-hop song with a pop rap edge. It’s that blend of sounds that helps its message of appreciating the wins in life hit that much harder. From a personal standpoint, I sometimes still struggle with appreciating the little things. It’s something I’ve gotten better with, but something I’d still like to improve upon. So this song is a “right place, right time” sort of thing. Lyrically, the duo give listeners hope with the bars and also give people relatable stories to build their own wins around. The production is top-notch and very radio-ready, There’s not enough positive energy I can give out regarding this track so I’m going to stop talking and tell you to check it out and support dope music in all its forms.
