Released in early-June, “My World” is a pocketful of sunshine on a cloudy day. What I mean is that the song is incredibly positive and pro-enjoying life. I’m here for that type of energy because we need more positive energies in music. Sonically, the track has disco rap leanings as well as boombap influences. It’s also got a bit of club vibe and the sound is quite funky. All of these things allow for good vibes to steep more and become even more potent, like a good tea.

What I also enjoyed about this one is the wordplay presented here. It’s not anything incredibly simple or basic. Listeners can follow along either way (even when things get somewhat profound). “World” showcases who Ease and DW are and why we need to take their words to heart. Plus, the lyrics and beat are fire emojis throughout.

This track made me check out even more of Ease’s work. What I gather from his discography is simple. There’re a lot of dope lyrics and good times to be had.
