6ixth Element Turns Heel on “Seldom Seen”

I was introduced to this track via SubmitHub and the fact that it was attached to a message talking about 6ixth referencing John Cena’s heel turn in it. “Seldom Seen” goes for hard lyrics for hard-ass people. This isn’t for the faint of heart really. It’s also not really for those who can’t appreciate a throwback sound, as the chops are definitely straight out of 1996. And that’s what this one special. It’s not just the Denver artist talking his ish. In fact, we get reasons as to why he’s able to talk his ish. Additionally, his flow over the sample-heavy beat feels like an old-school track–but it doesn’t feel old. Instead, the track feels right at home on SOTB as any other song I’ve featured. If you want some boombap with a lot of thump, both on the beat and lyrical side, check this one out and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
