On “All That I’ve Got,” we get the story of several folks who can’t stop the grind, as it’s imperative and important to their well-being. The Manchester-based duo of Finnerz and DJ Yves Jones, known as Fieves, put their stamp on the song because it’s honestly unlike anything I’ve heard recently, but still quite familiar. The production of “All” leans very distinctly and heavily into the UK hip-hop sound. I think that the track itself wouldn’t work if it didn’t, mainly because of the energy and urgency the beat gives the lyrics. Add that to a rapid-fire flow, not to mention some soulful, heartfelt lyrics vocals from Luke Royalty, and we’ve got a banger. I feel that this one is destined to get you ready to go off and get your rewards from life. I also love how the production builds and then deconstructs itself throughout the song, giving the beat and lyrics another level of dynamic sound. The only thing is that I wanted a third verse, but the two I got were excellent. If you need a quick reminder to never stop your grind, check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
