Lil Luke Wants to “Bring the Fight” Out Against the devil

Lil Luke is a young Miami artist who uses his skill to praise God. From that alone, I was interested. Sure, I love my secular music and things, as SOTB has those things en masse. I also love to use my platform to spread praise of God. It’s quite refreshing when I hear another voice doing so. Given my first 37-ish years, if anyone knows of God and the beauty of His love, it’s me.

“Bring The Fight Out” is, production-wise, more of a trunk-rattler that I expected. The production is very “bop-friendly” and its bass levels knock as hard as you’d expect from something called a “trunk-rattler.” It brings to mind other anthem-focused tracks. However, it’s the wordplay and rhymes that grabbed me. That’s because Luke is only seven and speaks on this topic with a maturity and intensity even some adults can’t muster. The song finds Luke calling out everyone’s True Opps: the devil and his kind. Making it known that Luke is guarded and blessed, he frequently and constantly rebukes the devil’s evils while engaging the audience directly with his energy and directness. This young man commands respect for God, His Son and the Holy Spirit. I especially love that I can play this song around anyone I may come across, as it’s a cleanly-crafted song with clean, praise-heavy raps. In other words, it’s a song I like and would like to hear more of.

I hope that you all give this young creative a chance. Check it out above, support dope music in all its forms, and never forget that God is here when things get chaotic
