The Road to Songs For… Part Four (#TwoTilFOR)

After my unhingedness began, I began going after everyone within earshot. Aside from #RAQUEL RELOADED/#ONEYEARLATER, I dropped a song entitled “Unhinged Speed.” This track was a diss of sorts, which was part Kendrick’s verse on “Control,” part-I’m-losing-my-mind-and-I’m on a few-and-I’m-pissed-off-at-everyone. Suffice to say, I lost a lot of supporters because of it. Months later, I made amends with most of the artists mentioned.

After that, of course, came “Heartbreaker” aka “The Song that Didn’t Exist.” Let’s not talk about that one. Third, before RR dropped, I recorded a song that appeared on the The Sh*t I Shoulda Dropped tape called “Speed Kills the World” where I just, well, go unhinged and spit some garbage-ass verses that have no real meaning. It’s track two.

Happily, I’m not (as) unhinged anymore and am trying to recover and make shit right.

(The final part of the #FIVEtilFOR series deals with “Rehabilitation”)
